STAD project 2023

The STAD (Stockholm prevents alcohol and drug problems) research collaboration launched a new campaign, funded by multiple sources including authorities like the Crime Prevention Council (brå), to combat drugs in pub environments.
She worked as an Observer in the study that investigates the staff’s strategies for dealing with people under the influence of drugs, by staging standardized scenes. This was done to see how the security guards behave when noticing the heavily intoxicated people (in this case actors), if they notice, and act on it.
As a team, they used forms to actively take notes about their observations from the pubs and nightclubs. The results of the study are part of the evaluation of preventive education within the network “Krogar mot knark” (Pubs Against Drugs).

GIG-HEALTH project 2022
Unit of Occupational Medicine, IMM | Karolinska Institutet
The GIG-HEALTH project, funded by the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare (FORTE), aims to investigate if platform work is associated with various health outcomes.
As a Research Assistant she collected the data, and helped mapping the mechanisms through which types of platform work affect the workers health and well-being. Through [firstly] a photovoice study and [secondly] by developing a survey questionnaire, to lay the foundation for the GIG-OSH project.

In addition to her actual duties, she contributed in numerous ways to parallel projects. She co-lead a systematic review, creating multiple advanced tables, and is co-author of several scientific articles within the research group “New World of Work”.
Her organizing skills have shown successful results in meetings with researchers from the Center for Work and Well-being, Harvard University. And with political stakeholders from the European Parliament (as well as non-political stakeholders).
FIAT project 2021
Center for Constitutional Studies | University College Dublin
The project Foundations of Institutional Authority ‘FIAT’, funded by the European Research Council (ERC), explores the following questions; Where does authority come from? What is it based on? How is it maintained – or lost?
In her role within this project, she coordinated every focus group session arranged in the Stockholm area. She completed the work by recruiting participants within specific (demographically representative) groups and encourage them to get involved. Her responsibility also included linguistic support during the group discussions.
In this position, she had a high level view of the current needs and wants of the project, while considering the challenges and incorporating it into their dynamic research planning process.
